Getting Your Digital Photos Ready For Sharing

One of the main reasons why people buy digital cameras is that they can share their photos with others. Even if you are just going to print your pictures for you, you want them to look their best. Here are some tips to get your images ready for sharing or printing.

1. Organize your photos

Delete what you do not like or people who are close to the other duplicate. No point in clogging up your hard disk or CD with the trash. Use good software for photo management as ACDSEE 7, Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 or Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album 5 to display, organize and name your images. The program also allows you to batch rename so that you can give a more descriptive file name for the group of photos all at once. You can add keywords and tags to find photos more easily. Specified in the description of your photos, not just "John and Laurie." You may have hundreds of photos of your children and more difficult to find what you are looking for. It is better to say "John and Laurie water skiing on Lake Powell, May 2004."

2. Save your ORIGINAL

Errors can occur. It is a good idea to back up all images to a CD before starting to edit or modify. Thus, you always have the original to return to deliberately save the image or change your photo then decide you do not want. CD store a lot of photos, so that cheaper insurance.

3. Rotate image

Try looking at one side of the picture is boring. Use your photo management or editing software to rotate the photo required. If you have an image that is a little crooked, you can solve this problem by using your editing software. Most photo editors have automatic function "straighten out", or you can manually rotate the image by a few degrees to straighten the horizon.

4. remove red eye

Even with automatic red-eye reduction on your digital camera, your subject's eyes may still have red eyes. Use your photo editing software to remove it. Focus on the eyes and it will be easier for you to fix red eye. I tried a number of red-eye correction tool, and found that what comes with a photo editor ACDSEE 7 is among the best. It zeros only on the red eye and does not darken the surrounding looks like any other software does not.

5. crop your image

Background Cut unnecessary or intrusive and focus on your subject. Most photo editing program will maintain the aspect ratio, so that when you draw a rectangle around the area you want to focus on will be cut as a 4x6 or that you specify. This way you will not end up with a strange image size. Ofoto, an online photo printer (now called Kodak EasyShare Gallery) also has a good cutter to maintain the appropriate print size. It comes with free photo editor.

6. adjust the lighting and contrast

Some of his photographs have been eased out or too dark. You can automatically adjust the color, brightness and contrast of your photos. The best programs such as Photoshop Album 2.0, ACDSee and Jasc also have the tools to make manual adjustments to enhance. Be careful not too good, or the image may come out rough.

7. prepare to share

There are a number of ways to share your photos. Some programs, such as Roxio Photo Suite 7, ACDSEE7, Photoshop Album and Paint Shop Photo Album allows you to create digital photo albums or slideshows with music, transitions, and captions. You can burn them to CD or resize and optimize e-mail directly from the program.

Online photo services such as Photoworks, Shutterfly, Snapfish and Kodak EasyShare Gallery (Ofoto) also allows you to share photos online for free. Simply upload your photos to your server in their own photo albums and add a description if desired. Then send your friend with a link to your album. With the online service most of your photos remain on their servers, as long as you have an account with them, free of charge. Sign up for a free account, you only pay for the pictures that you choose to buy.

For hardcore photo of participants, there are also sharing application dedicated to photos, such as PiXPO v1.5.0, which allows you to share photos directly from your hard drive. It is a peer software application that allows you to connect directly with their friends and family to share and view photos online without the addition of a peep. Unlike traditional photo sharing service, you have unlimited storage and you do not need to upload your photos to a remote server or wait for friends to connect to photo sharing sites. The application is easy to install and use and cheap, about $ 30 PC Magazine Editor's Choice in its rankings, January 2005 edition 3.

Tips On Renting A Limousine For Your Special Occasion

Step One: Determine the type of limousine (expandable Standard, Super Stretch SUV Hummer, Escalade, Rolls Royce) the desired color, the number of passengers. How many hours do you want to rent a limousine.

Questions to ask when calling to inquire about renting a limousine

While most people assume that all companies are the same, well, they do not. Most consumers are concerned about the hourly rate first and this is the typical mistake, since for the most part you get what you pay for!

When you hear a much lower price than other companies to realize that it might mean the year, make and features of the limousine offered are older and more used. So word to the wise: pay extra 5-15 dollars more per hour. For a first class vehicle and the professional service you can expect to get from a trained pilot. Also, if you consider that the typical three-hour minimum you are only talking $ 75.00 dollars on the high part of the new six-seater limousine of which exceeds the 100,000 mile mark and the car looks too.

Volume several vehicles

If you rent more than one vehicle. Example: a limousine, bus, be sure to ask about discounts that can be applied to both vehicles. Many companies offer discounted rates when multiple vehicles are used.

Murphys Law Back Up

Limo company will provide live contact person during your event scheduled if you need help. If not, be sure to get the phone number of operational managers responsible.

Other issues to be considered

How long limousine company been in business? Do they have testimonials from past clients? How big is their limousine fleet? What types and colors of limo available on the specified date? No vehicle has air conditioning and heating controlled from the passenger area? What is the cost? There are minimum requirements for hours? Do percent / tip included in the final price? How many casualties if any? Vehicles fully stocked and free drinks? Is the cost to the company and driving time to form the limousine rental company or the start when the driver arrives at your location? How pilots dressed?

Some limousine companies have a uniform standard, while others do not. The emergence of the driver is as important as the appearance of the vehicle and you want to have your professional conductor and clean appearance.

If the rent for a wedding and wanted to show Just Married sign it can be connected to the vehicle? If so, the company expects a standard sign or allow you to set your own. If so, it is an additional cost of cleaning and or services.

The Weather Forecast on Your Computer

I use the internet to search virtually all types of information. Even the weather.

Of course, I could just stick my head out the window and shouted, "Hello. What is the weather today?" But if the answer is "storm, hail and meteor storm," I do not want my head to be on the wrong side of the window when the answer down.

Moreover, it will not help resolve my travel plans last minute.

So I turned to the Internet. There are three very easy way to get good weather predicted on the Internet:

World weather:

There are some good weather forecast websites. What I most often use, because I'm in Canada, it is time http://www.theweathernetwork.com network), and I also like CNN (http: // www. Cnn.com/WEATHER/).

CNN gives current conditions and five-day forecasts. Network provides more detail, the short-term forecast (tonight, tonight, tomorrow morning, etc.) and long-term forecasts for the next six days. Network time providing maximum details all of the options, but takes longer to download the development of climate change (so do not do it on a 26K modem!) Both offer forecasts for cities around the world.

Weather forecast software:

The second way, which does not even need to go to a website, is to get current conditions right on your desktop. There is a free software download weather forecasting as http://www.weather4you.info that displays key data on your desktop, and even provide a summary text click away.

Weather forecast on your desktop may be the fastest way to get information on local weather, and the data is updated every five minutes. The screen can be configured for the local climate, but a few clicks allows a quick check on weather conditions to form almost all monitoring stations in the world which is ideal for making last minute travel plans

Google weather:

The third way to access the weather through Google. Yes, search engines find all the extra time to their repertoire. For example, a Google search for "weather Orlando", without the quotes, and see what you get.

At the time of writing, this service is only available for US cities (I guess the American people more than others.). However, it will be available everywhere by the time you read this article.

Google is the weather less choice needs, but quick and fairly easy to get if you are looking for information about a city in the United States.

Three options are valid, preparing for the daily commute or making travel plans and holidays. So pull on your head, close the window and sign. Why risk your neck when it's time for your computer.
